Lead Pastor, Mark Massey
Mark was born and raised in Salisbury, MD. He attended the University of Georgia where he earned a BS in Agriculture. Upon graduation, he moved back to Salisbury and worked with the family farm and later began his own farming operation. Mark and his wife and ministry partner, Lonea, have four grown boys; Joshua, Caleb, Jared, and Caden. Mark thought he would be a farmer all his life. But God had other plans.
In 2003, God worked in some amazing ways as the Massey’s sold their farm and moved to Kansas City for Mark to attend seminary at Nazarene Theological Seminary from which he received his Master of Divinity in 2007 and was ordained an elder in the Church of the Nazarene the same year. Mark has pastored churches in Missouri and the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Administrative Assistant, Michelle Freeman
Since January 2017, Michelle has been in the Real Life Chapel office working with and supporting the pastor, leadership team and ministry leaders. Previously, she spent 10 years in the banking industry and then 14 years homeschooling her sons. She loves helping people. So if you have any questions, she can help you connected with the right folks!

Children & Youth Director, Daniel (D.O.) Owens
D.O. has been involved in ministry most of his life. In high school he started a Fellowship of Christian Athletes in his school, leading daily devotions. As a adult he has been involved many years in a Christian band, using his specialty of song writing and spoken word. He has also led several youth groups over the years.
D.O. and his wife Gee live in Denton with their 3 young children: Nova, Presley and Dio.

Worship Team Leader, Gabrielle (Gee) Owens
Gee has been a part of the Real Life Chapel worship team since 2017, singing and playing key board. Previously she has spent many years singing with a band and singing lead in her own. Music is who she is and she has a heart for ministry as well.
She helps lead youth group with her husband, D.O. and lives in Denton with their 3 children and one pit bull!
